- Kacey Smith grew up in the wilds of Alaska learning to snowshoe before she could …Okay, so she really grew up in Europe in a centuries old castle where…Oh wait it was New York, where her nanny walked her to school every day while Mummy & Daddy…FINE! Kacey is from a fairly small southern town and frequently dreamed of living in a big city. Eventually that dream became a reality and she realized how much she missed the slower pace of life in the south.
